(Our spot is reserved until 10 p.m. so we can stay as late as we want. )

Matanuska River Park, Palmer

We will enjoy a variety of great plant-based picnic foods and time to socialize with fellow vegans!

If you are up for it, Toni Truesdell
always has a few fun games and activities for us to do as well.

FREE for everyone!
Bring your friends and family.

What to Bring
As usual, bring something yummy and 100% plant-based (vegan)** to share.

Be sure to bring serving utensils for
serving your dish.

Also, to avoid unnecessary waste of resources, please bring your own non-disposable plate, bowl, cup and utensils, which you can then take back home to wash.

You may also want to bring insect repellent and a light jacket, because we never know for sure what mother nature has in mind.

There is lots of space for kids to run and play, so come, bring your friends and family, and let's have fun!

**Plant-based (vegan) Potluck
We are committed to having all events completely vegan, meaning all foods are 100% plant-based. Please be sure there are no dairy products (milk, cheese, butter, yogurt, sour cream, cream cheese, ice cream, whipped cream, etc.), eggs, mayonnaise, marshmallows, Jello, fish or meat in any of the food you bring.

Is this your first time to a vegan potluck and you don't know what to bring?
We can make some suggestions...

Click on the "Suggest Food" button
or talk to Delisa at 907-232-5144 or
email her at delisa@yestolife.info

Everyone is invited.
Those who are curious and those who are committed vegans are all welcome. You do not need to be a vegan to attend our events. However, any food that you bring to the potluck must be completely plant-based.**

Recipe Card
Please bring a recipe card for your dish. Include your name and a phone number or email address. This helps us all to learn great new recipes from each other.

Cost: FREE

Where is Matanuska River Park?
Take the Glen Hwy to Palmer, turn east on Arctic Street, which turns into the Old Glen Highway, and go about a mile. The park is on the left (north) just past the cemetery. (If you get to the Matanuska River bridge, you missed the turn). We have reserved Pavilion B, near the main parking area and restrooms.
We will have the Alaska Vegan Society banner on the Pavilion.

(Click on the "Map" button for directions and map to the park.)

Future Dinners
We have a potluck dinner the last Saturday of every month (Except August & November. The August potluck is a week earlier to avoid State Fair traffic. November is our Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner on Thanksgiving Day).
