The Alaska Vegetarian Society monthly potluck dinners are fun and educational and there is always a wide variety of delicious 100% plant-based food!

It is also, a wonderful opportunity to meet many people who enjoy eating a plant-based diet. In addition to the great food, we have a monthly door prize drawing and a 50/50 split drawing.
Everyone is invited. Those who are curious and those who are committed vegetarians are all welcome. You do not need to be a vegetarian to attend our events. However, any food that you bring to the potluck must be completely plant-based.
Recipe Card Please bring a recipe card for your dish. Include your name and a phone number or email address. This helps us all to learn great new recipes from each other.
Cost The cost is only $2.00 per person when you bring a dish to share. If you are unable or don't wish to bring a dish to share for the potluck the cost is $7.00 per person. Children 5 years old and under are free. A portion of the money collected will be donated to the church for the use of their room.

Potluck dinner We are committed to having all events completely vegan, meaning all foods are 100% plant-based. Please be sure there are no dairy products (milk, cheese, butter, yogurt, sour cream, cream cheese, ice cream, whipped cream, etc.), eggs, mayonnaise, marshmallows, Jello, fish or meat in any of the food you bring.
Is this your first time to a vegan potluck and you don't know what to bring? We can make some suggestions...
